We were delight to join Mrs Lisa Moyle, the Director of Academic and Pastoral Care at Badminton School for the 6th form Careers Week. It's been a busy term for the Year 13 students, who have been applying to university, attending interviews and studying hard for their exams in the new year.
As with Aviva earlier in the year we were talking about CV writing, applying for jobs and how to get yourself that first interview. It's been a while since I was at school and I'd forgot how daunting applying for roles can be. It can be hard knowing where to start and what employers will be interested in knowing about you when you haven't yet gained any work experience. Our talked very much focused on the skills the girls had gained during their education, what they enjoy and how they can translate these into employable attributes.
We definitely had fun sharing our knowledge of recruitment and interview skills, and hope the students did too. If you would like to find out more about partnering with Element Recruitment in 2018, please call Steph Jenkins on 0117 369 9000 to find out more.
