Temporary Student Compliance Manager - Bristol

Are you a specialist in UKVI student visa compliance with a passion for supporting international students?

 Element Recruitment are working with a leading UK Higher Education facility, who is seeking a strategic and detail-oriented Student Visa Compliance Manager to lead institutional efforts and ensure continued sponsorship compliance.

This is to cover while recruiting, which is expected to be around 2 - 3 months

£175 - 200 per day

35 hours per week

Hybrid working, Bristol (2 days in the office)

What you’ll be doing:

• Lead and manage UKVI sponsor duties including reporting, monitoring, and record-keeping
• Act as the subject matter expert, advising senior stakeholders and preparing for audits
• Monitor immigration law developments and guide institutional responses
• Produce insights and reports for leadership and governance
• Represent the institution in sector-wide forums and advocate for best practices
• Embed compliance across the university and manage areas of risk

You should apply if you have:

• Extensive experience managing student visa compliance in higher education
• In-depth knowledge of UKVI legislation and policy
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Proven ability to lead change and deliver impactful training
• Experience working independently and collaboratively across teams
• Excellent IT skills and familiarity with student record systems (e.g. SITS)
