Temporary School Business Manager - Bristol - North

We’re looking for a School Business Manager to join a vibrant and well-supported primary school in the Bristol area on a temporary basis from ASAP until September/October, with the potential to become permanent.

This is a hands-on leadership role – and school experience is essential.

About the Role:
You’ll work closely with senior leaders to lead on a wide range of operational areas – including finance, HR, compliance, site management, GDPR, and staff line management. This is an exciting opportunity to step into a varied and impactful position within a collaborative and forward-thinking environment.

Key Details:

• Hours: 30–37 per week 

• Start: ASAP

• Duration: Until September/October 2025

• DBS: Enhanced DBS preferred – but we can arrange one if needed

We’re Looking For Someone Who:

• Has proven experience working in a school environment (this is essential)

• Can confidently lead on finance, admin, HR, and compliance

• Is organised, adaptable, and calm under pressure

• Has excellent people skills and can manage a team effectively

• Understands the importance of safeguarding and data protection
