Temporary Data Compliance Analyst - Bristol

Are you an experienced Data Analyst? Available for a 8 month Project role?

Element Recruitment are partnering with an charity in Bristol who are in need of a Data Compliance Analyst on a 8 month basis, as part of a large scale project. You’ll be working in a friendly office who are passionate about what they do.

This is a hybrid role, but you must be available to work in the Bristol office a minimum of 2 days per week.

£15.38 - £17.95 per hour (£30,000 - £35,000 equiv.)

Starting ASAP

Duties include but not limited to:

  • Collaborate with teams to collect, compile, and analyse data required for funder's audits, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Implement and maintain data quality standards and practices in alignment with regulatory requirements and organisational policies.
  • Conduct routine data validation and quality checks to identify and rectify discrepancies or inconsistencies.
  • Prepare and generate detailed data reports and documentation for audit purposes.
  • Assist in the development and enforcement of data management protocols, ensuring proper data governance and compliance.
  • Support in training international team members on data compliance standards and best practices.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, providing clear and concise information regarding data compliance and quality issues.
  • Assist in the development of corrective action plans to address data compliance issues identified during audits or routine data checks.

You will need:

  • Minimum 1-2 years experience working as a Data Analyst or within compliance
  • Strong understanding of data privacy regulations
  • Proficiency with data analysis tools and software (e.g. SQL, Excel, data visualisation tools)
  • The ability to meet deadlines
  • Be proactive in your approach to working
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
