Temporary Accounts Receivable Assistant

6 month | Hybrid | £ 11.50 p/h – £ 13.50 p/h

An opportunity has arisen for a Temporary Accounts Receivable Assistant to join a very well established firm based in the City Centre area.  Our client is looking for a someone who demonstrate excellent communication skills and have an excellent attention to detail and demonstrate excellent organisational skills.

You’ll be numerate, think logically and can multi-task. You’ll be able to commit to a 6-month period and ideally available on a one-week notice. 

Accountabilities:

• Preparation of invoices and credit notes for sales
• Taking phone payments and processing refunds
• Management of the credit control process from end to end including liaising with the sales teams on outstanding debt
• Reconciliation the accounts receivable ledger to ensure all payments are accounted for and properly posted
• Be the point of contact for all internal and external invoice and payment queries
• To ensure customers pay on time and aged debt is kept to a minimum
• Month end invoice and aged debt reporting
• Other adhoc finance duties as required

Skills:

• Previous experience within Credit Control / Accounts Receivable is preferable
• Be proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel
• Assertive and able to influence others
• Ideally studying towards AAT
