Senior Group Accountant - Bristol - Central

Element Recruitment are delighted to be exclusively partnering with a innovative and market leading, international technology business based in Bristol as they look to engage with a Senior Group Accountant to join their evolving team.

Working closely with the Group Financial Controller, this role will underpin the group finance function in relation to group and corporate reporting, technical and management accounting. This role will also have a high level of interaction with senior stakeholders including audit committee as well as finance business partners, providing actual vs forecast reporting and commentary. This role will also provide leadership of a small team, that will develop into a full management role as it develops. 

You'll be a technical accountant by background, having qualified in practice (ACA/ACCA) and looking to build on your first role in industry. You'll have good awareness of technical accounting standards, with experience of contributing towards the delivery of statutory reporting and monthly management accounts. You will be a naturally inquisitive person with an ability to think outside of the norm, turning data into meaningful financial information.

Whilst this role will currently be working from home, the expectation will be to be in the office up to 3 times a week when able.
