Revenue Controller - Bath

Element are pleased to be recruiting for a well known client to appoint a revenue controller on a 15 month FTC. This will suit an experienced billing, or revenue control professional, looking to step into an excellent professional services firm as they continue their organic growth journey. 

• Process billing instructions accurately and on time.

• Monitor and review WIP, prioritising aged items and ensuring timely billing or appropriate write-offs.

• Maintain clear records of pricing structures and commercial arrangements.

• Improve data accuracy, minimise revenue leakage, and support engagement with internal stakeholders.

• Manage service agreements and hour-bank arrangements.

• Serve as a support point for your team and liaise regularly with colleagues across the business.

• Update the Working Capital Manager on workload issues and contribute to process improvements.

• Provide reporting and analysis when requested, including fee summaries and billing performance insights.

• Build effective working relationships with senior stakeholders through regular reviews.

• Ensure billing targets and timetables are met.

Requirements

Essential

• Proven experience in a similar billing or finance support role within a professional environment.

• Strong understanding of billing processes and WIP management.

• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

• Confident, proactive, and comfortable discussing financial matters with senior colleagues.

• Highly organised, able to prioritise and manage multiple deadlines.

• Strong initiative with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and confident using business systems.

• Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to customer service.

• Calm under pressure and adaptable when workloads shift.

• Willingness to work occasional additional hours when needed.
