Element Recruitment is seeking an experienced HR and Recruitment Advisor to join a busy, award-winning organisation.

This is a hands-on position supporting the full recruitment lifecycle alongside a broad range of HR activities, including onboarding, employee engagement and performance management. You will be a key point of contact for managers and employees, providing practical, day-to-day HR support while ensuring accurate systems, reporting and people data.

This role would suit someone with prior HR or recruitment experience who is looking to further develop their career in a fast-paced, supportive environment.

Due to occassional site visits you will ideally have access to a car

Key responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment activity, including screening applications, coordinating interviews and maintaining regular communication with candidates
  • Coordinate onboarding processes, including preparing and issuing offers of employment and delivering induction sessions
  • Support the development and delivery of HR initiatives such as employee engagement and performance management
  • Act as a first point of contact for managers and employees, responding to queries on absence, annual leave and general HR matters
  • Provide comprehensive HR administration, ensuring documentation is accurate and up to date
  • Maintain and update the HR system, ensuring data accuracy and compliance
  • Produce HR metrics and KPIs to support reporting and informed decision-making

Person specification

  • Previous experience in a similar HR or recruitment advisory/support role
  • Strong interest in developing a career within HR and/or recruitment
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Confident and professional, able to build positive working relationships quickly
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable using HR systems and technology, with the ability to learn new systems quickly
  • Highly organised, accurate and detail-focused
  • Able to work independently, using initiative while knowing when to seek guidance
  • Driving licence and access to a car is essential
