Element Recruitment are currently seeking a proactive and professional Receptionist to join a respected and friendly organisation in the professional services sector. This role plays a vital part in the day-to-day operations of the office, acting as the first point of contact for visitors and callers, and supporting with administrative, postal, and archiving duties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Answer all incoming telephone calls, directing them appropriately or taking accurate messages.
  • Welcome and manage all client visits, providing a professional and friendly first impression.
  • Maintain a tidy and professional reception area and meeting rooms at all times.
  • Manage reception and meeting room bookings, and monitor general enquiries via email.
  • Arrange refreshments and occasionally lunches for meetings.
  • Open and sort all incoming post for distribution each morning.
  • Prepare all outgoing post, ensuring correct packaging and postage.
  • Arrange courier collections as needed (e.g. TNT).

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Friendly, professional, and client-focused approach.
  • Excellent time management and ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Competent with general office administrative duties.
