Product Developer - Bath

Element Recruitment are proud to partner with a Creative Agency based in Bath, who are seeking a talented Product Developer to join their team on a 12 month Fixed Term Contract. This role offers an exciting opportunity to oversee the full lifecycle of products for a diverse range of clients, ensuring projects meet quality, cost, and time targets while maintaining a strong focus on client satisfaction.

Job requirements: 

• Manage all stages of product development from concept to final delivery, liaising with suppliers and internal teams.
• Develop detailed product specifications, monitor costs, and optimise margins.
• Collaborate with creative teams to identify trends, ensuring products are commercially viable and fit for purpose.
• Build and maintain strong supplier relationships and negotiate prices.
• Coordinate with logistics, compliance, and account teams to meet all deadlines and standards.
• Maintain an accurate product database and proof all product copy and samples.
• Visit trade shows and factories to source new suppliers and ensure quality standards.

About you:

• Proficiency in Excel and strong numeracy skills.
• Experience in product development and working with suppliers.
• Methodical, detail-oriented, with excellent communication skills.
• Ability to prioritise, multitask, and problem-solve effectively.

This role is paying £40,000 - £45,000 with hybrid working from the central Bath office.
