Herefordshire Area | 30 Hours per Week | Up to £35,000 FTE

Element Recruitment are working with a business as a Payroll Officer to join a successful and growing organisation. This is a stand-alone payroll role offering autonomy, flexibility, and the opportunity to support a busy finance team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • End-to-end processing of weekly payroll
  • Managing payroll records, timesheets, starters and leavers
  • Handling payroll queries and ensuring compliance with HMRC and pension regulations
  • Supporting pension administration and payroll reporting
  • Assisting with sales ledger duties, invoicing and reconciliations
  • Identifying and implementing process improvements

About You:

  • Minimum 2 years' payroll experience
  • Strong knowledge of UK payroll legislation
  • Confident using Excel / VLOOKUPS etc
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
  • Able to work independently and meet deadlines
