Element Recruitment is pleased to be supporting a well known organisation for a Part-Time Payroll Advisor to join their friendly and collaborative team on a 12 month fixed term contract. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong payroll experience, particularly in in-house payroll, who’s looking for flexibility and a varied role within a supportive environment.
Part-time hours - 22.5, ideally across four days.
Hybrid working 1 - 2 days a week in the office, the rest from home. Free parking on site!
Key Responsibilities:
End-to-end processing of the payroll cycle
Submitting EPS and FPS returns to HMRC
Reconciling payroll and resolving any discrepancies
Inputting accurate data into the payroll system
Identifying and correcting errors or anomalies in payroll data
Supporting the HR team with payroll-related paperwork (e.g. contract amendments for changes in hours)
Providing occasional HR administrative support (approx. 10% of the role)
What We’re Looking For:
Solid understanding of payroll processing and relevant legislation
Prior experience with in-house payroll systems preferred
Strong attention to detail and ability to spot errors
Confident working independently as well as part of a team
Good communication and organisational skills
Experience with HR admin tasks is a bonus but not essential
