Management Accountant - Bath

Management Accountant | £50,000 - £60,000 + Bonus | Bath

Based in Bath, this Management Accountant role is designed for a proactive professional who excels at both people management and high-level business partnering. You will lead a small, dedicated team and work closely with diverse stakeholders across the group to add genuine value, ensuring the financial reporting translates into actionable business intelligence within the fast-paced consumer health sector. This is a career-making role for someone looking to prove their ability to develop the team and drive enhanced commercial decision making and performance. 

The Role:

• Prepare and review the Management Accounts
• Working with tangible products, you will act as the primary lead for non-finance departments, providing actionable insights
• Analyse KPI's and consumer trends to support commercial decision making and profitability reviews
• Identify and implement process improvements to streamline month-end reporting, freeing up time for high-value commercial analysis.
• Oversee cash flow forecasts and VAT returns
• Manage and develop a small team, overseeing their professional development and ensuring the accuracy of core management reporting.

Your Profile:

• Qualified Accountant (CIMA / ACCA / ACA)
• Strong communication and partnering skills 
• Exceptional analytical skills 
• A natural leader - management experience preferred, not essential
