Management Accountant - Oxford

Element are pleased to be working alongside a long standing client to help with the recruitment of an Italian speaking Management Accountant to join their team, based in Oxford.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the month end close process and delivery of monthly and quarterly management account packs for subsidiaries managed in the UK
• Analyse review and add meaningful commentary to the Profit and loss.
• Balance sheet reconciliations with relevant back up for each account.
• Works closely with transactional teams, Finance Business Partners and the ops team to ensure accurate reporting of property financial performance against Budget/Forecast.
• Business partner with non finance stakeholders to support with their understanding of financial performance, which in turn allows them to provide insightful analysis to investors.
• Contribute to audit processes over property statutory accounts, ensure requests from property auditors are addressed on a timely basis.
• Assist with queries and requests from property investors.
• Contribute to financial analysis to provide insights into property performance.
• Ad hoc deputisation for senior members of finance

Qualifications

• Fluent Italian Speaker (Essential)
• ACCA/CIMA Part Qualified
• Able to work fluently as part of a team
• Prior experience with month end management accounting
• Strong attention to detail
• Some understanding of Italian statutory accounting
• It would be advantageous to have experience of working with multiple subsidiaries
