MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT | £50,000 - £58,000 | HIGHBRIDGE, SOMERSET
Management Accountant for a fast-growth private equity funde, multi-site operations company in Highbridge, Somerset. Our client is seeking a technically competent individual with strong interpersonal skills who can work with all levels of the business. The ideal candidate will have experience in management accounting and be either qualified or nearing qualification.
You will be ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or a late PQ. This is a great role, in a smaller high-growth enterprise. If you want a broad, hands-on role reporting to a dynamic FD you should apply.
Duties:
- Prepare monthly management accounts, including revenue reconciliation and balance sheet construction.
- Contribute to the preparation of the Board pack and weekly reporting.
- Develop and oversee financial systems and procedures, continuously identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure the business has adequate liquidity to meet its obligations.
- Conduct cost analysis and identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvements.
Requirements:
- Newly qualified or near-qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
- Experience in a fast-growing business, or in practice is desirable.
- Interest in or experience with Private Equity is desirable, but not essential
- Good general IT skills, especially MS Excel
- Confident and articulate communicator.
