Management Accountant - Gloucester

Well established and renowned local organisation in Gloucester is looking for a Management Accountant. You will ideally be a qualified (or very nearly qualified) accountant either from practice or industry. The role offers excellent opportunity and progression.

Reporting into the Finance Director, responsibilities will include:

• Production of monthly management accounts
• Manage the month end process once the financials have been reviewed by FD and signed off through to close of accounts
• Produce monthly cost centre reports for the budget holders
• Assist FD with budget preparation and bi-annual forecasts
• Responsible for the balance sheet including review and output, resolve issues, managing risks and opportunities 
• Own timetable for delivery of statutory accounts submissions
• Own the audit process and be the main point of contact for the financial auditors
• Manage delivery of tax returns at year end
• Produce weekly flash reports for the FD 
• Responsible for producing gross margin reports for the commercial team which highlights price and margin variances to budget

Your Profile:

• Qualified Accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) From practice or industry
• Strong IT skills, especially Excel 
• Self motivated and a team player
