Management Accountant (6-12 month FTC) - Cheltenham

We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Interim Management Accountant to join a growing business in the Gloucester area for a 6 - 12 month period. This role is ideal for a part-qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) who is available at short notice and can quickly add value in a busy environment.

You will be responsible for delivering accurate financial reporting, supporting process improvements, and contributing to key finance projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparation of accounting entries, monthly reconciliations, and management accounts (including quarterly forecasting).
• Preparation of annual company statutory financial statements.
• Support the Functions finance team with management accounting processes and improvement initiatives.
• Assist with ad-hoc projects, analysis, and investigations to meet departmental objectives.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting standards.

About You

• Part-qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
• Available to start within two weeks
• Strong technical accounting skills with the ability to work independently.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and comfortable working with ERP systems.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Previous experience in an interim or contract role is desirable but not essential.
