Job Title: Interim Transactional Finance Manager
Location: Remote with occasional travel to Derby (1-2 per month)
Duration: 12–18 months (Interim Contract)
Reports To: Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

You’ll be at the heart of a multi-country finance transformation—rolling up your sleeves, solving problems, and bringing structure to a changing landscape. It’s a high-impact role where your expertise will shape the future of our group accounting operations.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and employee expense reimbursements across a multi-country shared services structure.
  • Manage both the current (“As-Is”) and future (“To-Be”) shared services operating models during the ERP transition.
  • Ensure accurate and timely GAAP-compliant financial reporting, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end close processes.
  • Collaborate with the PMO ERP program and cross-functional finance streams to support system integration and migration.
  • Design and implement process improvements to drive standardization, automation, and operational efficiency across finance processes.
  • Liaise with FP&A and Treasury to support cash flow forecasting, analysis, and reporting.
  • Partner with Commercial, Supply Chain, IT, and HR teams to enhance upstream data flows and ensure high-quality financial inputs.
  • Support internal and external audits, and ensure compliance with UK GAAP, statutory, and regulatory requirements.

 

Key Requirements:

  • 5–8 years of accounting experience, ideally in a shared services or group finance environment.
  • Proven experience working with large ERP systems and managing ERP-related finance transitions.
  • Strong analytical and reconciliation skills with an eye for detail.
  • Proficient in Excel and accounting/reporting systems.
  • Team-oriented with a collaborative mindset.
