Interim Netsuite Systems Accountant | Bristol | 3 months | Outside IR35

We are seeking an experienced and highly analytical Interim NetSuite Systems Accountant for an immediate 3-month contract based in Bristol.

As a subject matter expert, you will bridge the gap between financial control and system capability. Your primary objective will be to spearhead finance process optimisation within the NetSuite environment, ensuring the system is fully leveraged to support the company’s finance, operations, and commercial teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Take the lead in auditing, refining, and optimising financial processes within NetSuite to eliminate bottlenecks, automate manual tasks, and drive overall system efficiency across the business.
• Netsuite Configuration and Development. Assess and develop workflows, saved searches, dashboards, roles/permissions, custom forms, fields, and records, with a strong focus on system optimisation and user adoption.
• Requirements & Solution Design. Confidently lead discovery workshops with key business stakeholders. You will translate complex business needs into practical, scalable solutions and produce comprehensive functional specifications.
• Act as the internal NetSuite champion, supporting finance, operations, and commercial teams to improve cross-departmental data flow and reporting accuracy.
• User Adoption and Training. Ensure system changes are smoothly adopted by the teams through clear communication, documentation, and targeted support.
