Interim Management Accountant - Cheltenham

Interim Management Accountant | 6 months | Cheltenham (Hybrid) | £50,000 - £55,000 (OR Day rate equiv.)

Highly acquisitive and evolving organisation in Cheltenham, is seeking an Interim Management Accountant to join at a period of growth. They are looking for a Qualified Accountant who is proactive and detail driven to strengthen the group finance function. You will deliver month-end reporting, support with statutory and tax compliance and produce financial insight for senior stakeholders. 

Responsibilities will include:

• Deliver month-end close, preparing monthly management accounts including P&L, balance sheet and cashflow. 
• Perform detailed month-end variance analysis 
• Monthly balance sheet reconciliations 
• Maintain and reconcile Fixed Asset Registers
• Support the preparation of monthly Group consolidated accounts
• Assist with intercompany reconciliations 
• Prepare and submit VAT returns
• Assist with internal and external audit deliverables
• Business partner across operational, commercial and technology teams, providing financial insight and support decision making
• Continuous improvement to systems and data 

Your Profile:

• Qualified Accountant (ACCA / CIMA / ACA)
• Strong experience in Month-end reporting 
• Exposure to group consolidations would be desirable
• Good attention to details and Strong MS Excel
