Interim Management Accountant - Central - London

Element Recruitment is pleased to be working exclusively with a rapidly growing tech SME based in London who are looking for an Interim Management Accountant (Part-Qualified) to support their finance team during a period of growth and transformation.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and wants to add real value to a business scaling quickly.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the month-end close process, including journals, accruals, and prepayments.
• Produce management accounts and insightful variance analysis.
• Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations.
• Partner with the operations and FP&A teams to support budgeting and forecasting.
• Assist in process and systems improvements (experience with Xero, Netsuite, or similar advantageous).
• Provide ad hoc reporting and analysis to senior management.

About You

You’ll be a motivated and detail-oriented finance professional who’s confident working independently and communicating across teams.

Essential Skills & Experience:

• Part-qualified accountant (ACCA / CIMA / ACA) or equivalent.
• Strong background in management accounting within an SME or fast-growth environment.
• Advanced Excel and strong system skills.
• Excellent communication and time management abilities.
• Available to start immediately or on short notice.
