Element Recruitment are delighted to be supporting an innovative, growing business based in the heart of Gloucestershire as they look to appoint an Interim Financial Controller.
This role will manage the timely and accurate outputs of the wider finance team, demonstrating strong leadership skills and excellent financial acumen. You will partner with the Senior Leadership Team, within a changing and growing environment where suggestions for improvements are welcomed. You will also have oversight of the business monthly, quarterly and annual reporting and forecasting activities. Contributing toward wider business strategy, you will also play a pivotal role in the business financial planning and budgeting exercises.
You will be a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) either looking to take your first step into a Financial Controller role, or perhaps an experienced Head of / Financial Controller looking to take the next step in your career. This business are evolving and developing, so an open to change and all hands on deck mindset is required, as well as strong technical accounting credentials and experience with hands on and effective people leadership skills. Experience with a finance ERP is required, experience of supporting a system implementation would be advantageous too. Given the nature of the business activities, any experience with R&D tax claims/reporting would be highly advantageous.
Offered on a 2 year, fixed term contract, this role will pay up to a salary of £80,000 plus wider benefits. Operating with hybrid working of 3 days per week at their Gloucestershire site location with parking available. You will ideally be available to commence work without restriction within the next 3 months. First stage interviews for this role are planned for Friday 12th April.
