Interim Finance Controller - Gloucestershire

Interim Financial Controller | Cheltenham | £300 - 375 a day | Manufacturing | 6 months

The Role:

We’re exclusively looking for an experienced Financial Controller to join a globally-operating SME on a 6-month interim basis. You’ll be responsible for leading the finance function across group reporting and consolidation, managing a small team, and delivering timely, insightful financial outputs to the leadership team. There is also the opportunity for this to convert into a permanent role.

 Key Responsibilities:

• Group financial and management accounting
• Monthly consolidation and group-level reporting
• Lead on forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis
• Maintain integrity of statutory accounts and audit support
• Line management of a small finance team
• Liaison with key stakeholders across the business

Your Profile:

• Qualified Accountant (ACA / CIMA / ACCA)
• Proven experience as a Financial Controller or similar role
• Strong group consolidation and reporting skills
• Ability to deliver accurate management accounts to tight deadlines
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Immediately available or on short notice
• Manufacturing experience is highly desirable but not essential
