Interim Finance Business Partner - Bristol

Element are delighted to be supporting a global professional services organisation in their search for a Finance Business Partner, for an initial 12-month fixed-term contract.

The Role

Working closely with the Head of Commercial Finance and wider senior operational stakeholders, this role will deliver global reporting, analysis, and interrogation of financial performance to support wider business growth and strategic initiatives.

As Finance Business Partner, you will act as a pivotal link between finance and operations. Your day to day will focus on:

• Performance & Insight: Monitoring KPIs and global financial performance, providing the "why" behind the numbers through high-quality variance analysis and management reporting packs.
• Planning & Forecasting: Leading the coordination of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts, working closely with business leads to ensure assumptions are robust and data is consolidated.
• Commercial Strategy: Supporting strategic initiatives, from refining pricing strategies and project scoping to assisting with acquisitions and business integrations.
• Process Excellence: Partnering with Group Finance and Business Transformation leads to develop sophisticated reporting tools, ensuring data integrity and identifying efficiencies.

The Ideal Candidate

You will be an immediately available (or short notice) Qualified Accountant (QBE considered), with proven experience in operational stakeholder engagement and finance business partnering. A background in professional services is required, and experience with billable project accounting or recurring revenue models would be highly advantageous.

What's on offer

A salary of up to £70,000 is on offer, plus package and benefits, initially on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This employer offers hybrid working in Bristol (1–3 days per week in the office, depending on workload and key initiatives).
