Interim Credit Controller - Cheltenham

Are you immediately available? Are you looking for a new Credit Control position to join a very successful business in Gloucester?

If so, then a leading business is seeking a motivated and driven Credit Controller to join their team on a full-time, temporary basis for three months.

This position is office based and has free parking on site.

The primary purpose of this role is to ensure that debtors are managed in a timely and effective manner. You will be responsible for:

• To manage customer retention accounts and chasing any balances that are falling due
• Liaising with customers to achieve timely payment of debt and resolve any issues that result in late payments
• Successful engagement with the Commercial and Production teams to collectively resolve issues that would prevent successful collections activity in accordance with agreed payment term.
• Engaging with other departments when required and collating supporting information
• Responsible for updating Internal Systems and recording information
• To prepare aged debt reports to be reviewed with wider Commercial, Operational and Finance teams
• Responsible for ensuring that appropriate credit management controls are adhered to
• Ad hoc duties as requested by the Head of Credit

To be successful in this role, you will have substantial experience in a Credit Control role and will have a proven track record of success in customer relations. You will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and will be able to deal with challenging situations calmly and professionally. Additionally, you will have a strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
