HR Officer (Part Time) - Bristol

Element Recruitment are looking for an experienced HR Advisor to join a fast-paced organisation based in Bristol on a part-time basis. 

This role would suit someone confident in providing excellent HR advice, managing employee relations cases, and supporting managers across the full employee lifecycle. You’ll be hands-on, organised, and passionate about delivering a strong employee experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide HR support on employee relations matters (grievance, disciplinary, performance, absence)
  • Support and conduct HR investigations
  • Prepare contracts, offer letters, and contractual changes
  • Maintain accurate HR records and support payroll processes
  • Support recruitment and onboarding for permanent and casual staff
  • Produce absence reports and manage occupational health referrals
  • Support HR projects, training initiatives, and employee engagement
  • Support health & safety processes, reporting and risk assessments

About You

  • Proven experience in an HR Advisor or similar role
  • Strong employee relations knowledge
  • Highly organised with great attention to detail
  • Confident communicator, able to work independently

Desirable:

  • CIPD Level 5
  • Strong Excel skills

Details:

  • 25 hours a week (Spread over 3 or 5 days)
  • Up to £34,000 FTE (£22,600 Pro Rata)
  • On-site
