HR Manager - Bristol

I have partnered exclusively with a growing business based in Bristol who are looking for a HR Manager to join their team on a permanent basis. In this role you will be reporting to the UK Managing Director and liaising with key stakeholders to develop and implement the HR strategy, as well as leading on a number of exciting projects including reviewing the reward and benefits schemes, implementing their D&I strategy and reviewing HR policies.

Key responsibilities:

  • Leading, directing and developing the HR function, ensuring activities are aligned to the organisaitons business and people strategy
  • Developing, reviewing and implementing HR policies and procedures
  • Provide advice and guidance on employee relations issues as well as supporting managers in handling performance management and disciplinary processes.
  • Collating and analysing management information to aid data driven decision making and strategy development.
  • Supporting the business with organisational design, resource planning and change management
  • Leading the HR function in order to attract, develop and retain engaged, appropriately skilled and motivated staff necessary to run a successful organisation.

About you:

  • Up to date knowledge of UK employment 
  • Sufficient knowledge of best practice and legislation on all aspects of HR
  • Ability to build and maintain credibility with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrable ability to assess and manage HR workloads in a timely manner.

This role is paying £55,000 - £60,000 per annum, with a discretionary annual bonus of upto 10% and is a fantastic opportunity to work at a strategic level whilst building the HR team. This role is based in Bristol with 4 days in the office, 1 from home.
