Element Recruitment is delighted to be partnering with an impactful not-for-profit organisation based in Bristol who are seeking a HR Business Partner to join the team on a part time basis for a 12-month fixed term contract.

We are looking for someone who can lead and contribute to HR projects, including policy development, ED&I workstreams, and the resolution of complex employee relations cases, while driving impactful People team outcomes.

This role involves leading key workstreams, enhancing recruitment processes, and supporting wider HR initiatives, alongside providing expert guidance to managers on employee relations, sickness and absence, and organisational change.

This is a part-time role, 30 hours a week - pro rata salary.

 

Skills Needed:

  • Previous experience working as a HR Business Partner or Senior HR Advisor.
  • Experience leading on policy development, and solid knowledge of UK employment law.
  • Expert knowledge and experience advising managers on employee relations cases - disciplinary, grievance, sickness absence etc.
  • Skilled in building effective, trusting relationships with leaders and colleagues.
  • Confident using HR systems and Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex information clearly and sensitively.
  • Values-driven and a commitment to fairness, inclusion and continuous improvement.
