Element Recruitment are working with a highly successful growing Tech SME start up to help with a newly created HR & Recruitment Advisor role. You will support on the employee life cycle, recruitment, ER, L&D, Benefits and policies and report directly in to the Head of HR. You will also be providing guidance to the HR Administrator. There will also be the chance to get involved in a lot of project work as the company continue to grow. 

This can be a remote working role, with optional travel to the office in Bath.

Salary upto £35,000 per annum

Duties include:

  • Supporting the recruitment process as the business grows
  • Providing general HR advice to employees
  • Providing advice and guidance to the HR Administrator 
  • Coach, Influence and advise line managers
  • Educates line managers on effective performance management processes including day to day performance conversations
  • Support the Head of HR on all aspects of group HR processes and assist the wider team with support during busy periods as required
  • Confidently advise on employee relations cases including performance improvement processes, disciplinary, grievance and absence, offering support to the managers

You will need:

  • 1+ year of HR Advisory experience
  • CIPD qualification or working towards
  • Experience using HR Systems
  • Excellent organisational skills, with an ability to prioritise in a fast paced environment
  • Understanding of confidentiality and GDPR provisions
  • Experience on advising managers on a broad range of HR topics including complex formal processes including disciplinary, grievance, capability and absence management
