Group Systems Accountant (TM1 Specialist) - Cheltenham

Group Systems Accountant - TM1 | Gloucestershire (1 day in the office a week min.) | Day rate negotiable

Due to a period of organisational change and transformation within the head office finance function, this household name requires an experienced Interim Group Systems Accountant with deep TM1 expertise.

This critical interim assignment sits at the intersection of group finance and systems architecture. You will be responsible for ensuring the absolute accuracy, integrity, and development of TM1 - the group’s primary facilitator for all internal and external financial reporting.

The Role:

• Own the maintenance, configuration and day-to-day administration of TM1 (including user management, exchange rates, dimension structures and period roll-forwards.)
• Support the team with complex TM1 developments to modernise the system, improve data validation and enhance automated submissions windows.
• Act as a key systems partner to over 200 global operating businesses, regional FDs and central Head Office teams.
• Ensure data accuracy for global financial reporting submissions across both Actuals and Plans / Forecasts, mitigating risks during high-pressure reporting cycles.
• Improve existing reporting models and build ad-hoc bespoke reports within TM1 to answer key business questions and deliver first-pass P&L commentary.
• Challenge and enhance the existing controls environment, managing testing plans in alignment with Internal Controls requirements.

Your Profile:

• ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified with 2y + PQE
• Advanced Excel user with ability to model large data sets
• TM1 expert
• A self-starter
