I am currently recruiting for a new thriving business which is an online platform within the healthcare sector. They are changing the way the sector is currently designed with new digital tools and technologies in everyday life. The company and their back story is very interesting and comes from a gap in the market.
My client is looking for a talented front-end developer to bring their flair and focus to the team. The successful candidate will be working in a dedicated Mobile App Development Team within a fast-moving and growing Technology function. Their product roadmap includes multiple exciting and innovative features that you will help to build. As a member of the team you will help shape their strategy and what the offering looks like, deliver excellent code and be a part of something to be proud of.
Key Competencies:
- JavaScript/Typescript/Angular, HTML5, CSS and SASS.
- Knowledge and experience of Mobile development is expected
- Be comfortable working as part of a team and contributing ideas whilst considering those of others
- Demonstrate an eye for detail and the ability to turn a design into a pixel-perfect product based on designs/specification
- Work confidently with UI/UX designers to refine and extend designs
- Participate in the full product lifecycle, from design to post-launch support. In addition to development tasks
- Work independently and simultaneously across multiple projects
- Deliver first class work consistently on schedule as others will be depending on you
- Write structured, well-documented code to deliver scalable software solutions
- Capture and document internal customer requirements into software design specifications/user stories
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills, be able to write clear and concise documentation for technical and non-technical audiences
- Confidently peer review and provide feedback on others’ work
- Stay abreast of existing, new and emerging technologies, and use that knowledge to drive development
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop code as per the specifications and coding standards
- Produce detailed technical design documentation and estimates
- Create and implement unit tests
- Ensure all code passes unit testing with appropriate code coverage
- Provide feedback on process to refine where necessary
Key Technologies:
- Angular / TypeScript / Javascript
- HTML5, including knowledge of the full range of language features
- CSS including animation and media queries
- CSS pre-processors (e.g. Sass, Less)
- Cross-device compatibility testing and development
- React Native
