Financial Manager - Bristol - South

Technical Finance Manager | £60,000 - £70,000 | South West

Renewable energy organisation in Bristol is seeking a technically strong Finance Manager. You will be a qualified accountant, most likely ACA / ACCA with a good knowledge of IFRS. This is an excellent opportunity to join this business at a time of growth and evolution, with progression opportunities. We'll also consider practice first movers. Hybrid working, with some travel and a great culture.

Responsibilities will include:

• Production of the monthly actuals reporting for group
• Assist in the preparation of Group consolidated statutory accounts on a half year and full year basis
• Support the Financial Controller in producing board papers on financial reporting and technical accounting issues
• Managing 2 members of staff
• Be the point of contact for external auditors, half year review and full year audit / annual report
• Manage the balance sheet reconciliations process
• Review the VAT and corporation tax working papers to ensure compliance

Your Profile:

• ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified
• Strong technical knowledge, must be fluent in IFRS
• An understanding of accounting for energy generation is highly preferable but not essential
• Strong accounting skills such as consolidation or group restructuring
