£ 30,000 - £ 35,000 | City Centre | Office Based

An opportunity has arisen for the right candidate to join an evolving and entrepreneurial brand as a Financial Accountant. This position will offer an opportunity for the candidate to develop existing knowledge as well as the chance to work within a very energetic working culture. In order to succeed in this job, you should have strong Excel and IT skills, be able to communicate with people at all levels, and be a well-organised individual.

Responsibilities:

• Performance of monthly balance sheet reconciliations
• Assistance with requests for the year-end audit
• Preparation and posting of prepayments and accruals 
• Accounts payable / Accounts receivable
• VAT returns
• Intercompany recharges
• Assisting with the annual statutory audit

Skills:

• Training for AAT or ACCA/CIMA
• Analytical with attention to detail
• Can work under pressure and to deadlines
• Good problem-solving skills
• Excellent Excel skills
