Finance Manager | Central Bristol (1-2 days in office) | £65k - £70k + Benefits

Responsibilities will include:

• You'll be working with consultants on their WIP management including reporting and optimisation.
• Lead and manage the team, including two Assistant Management Accountants and one Financial Accountant
• Oversee the end-to-end month-end reporting process across multiple business units
• Consolidate month-end results and forecasts, including financial and non-financial KPIs, for review by the Head of Finance
• Coach and support the finance team through a period of change, fostering development across a range of skill levels
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on financial performance, reporting quality, and delivery
• Collaborate closely with systems development teams and data analysts to enhance management information (MI) reporting
• Identify and implement improvements in reporting processes and technologies to boost efficiency and insight
• Partner with senior stakeholders to provide data-driven insight and challenge performance where needed
• Take a hands-on approach to problem-solving and financial analysis when required
• Demonstrate leadership in embedding best practices, resilience, and a results-focused mindset across the team

Your Profile:

• Qualified Accountant (ACA / CIMA / ACCA)
• Experience working within a consultancy environment is desirable but not essential
• Experience managing a team
• Strong Excel skills
