Finance Business Partner - Bristol - North

We’re pleased to be working on behalf of a well-known, respected organisation in North Bristol to recruit an experienced Finance Business Partner. The Role:

As a Finance Business Partner, you will take responsibility for providing insightful financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting support to a range of business units. Working closely with senior managers and operational teams, you’ll help drive performance, enhance financial control, and support strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide financial advice, analysis, and guidance to budget holders, working proactively to improve performance and cost control
• Prepare monthly management accounts for allocated business areas, including in-year forecasts, accounting adjustments, pay forecasts, capital spend tracking, and variance commentary
• Liaise with the Head of Financial Planning, Partnering & Reporting to ensure accurate and timely reporting
• Take an active role in annual budget setting and multi-year financial planning, producing income and expenditure budgets aligned with operational plans
• Build strong relationships across the business to ensure financial awareness and accountability

Skills & Experience Required:

• ACCA/ CIMA part-qualified accountant (or equivalent)
• Proven experience in financial control, compliance, management accounts, and balance sheet reconciliations
• Strong track record in preparing and managing budgets, forecasts, and financial analysis
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex financial information to non-finance colleagues
• Confident influencing and persuading stakeholders using data-driven insights
• Customer-focused approach and the ability to work effectively with people at all levels
