We are pleased to be supporting a successful, family-run organisation in North Bristol that is looking for an experienced Finance Assistant to join their growing team.
If you have a keen eye for detail, are organised and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, then this is the role for you.
This role offers an exciting challenge to the right candidate, as you’ll be responsible for the efficient and accurate management of all financial transactions. You will have the opportunity to develop and implement processes to improve the financial operations of the business.
You will be responsible for:
Manage day-to-day accounting tasks, including accounts payable and receivable
Reconcile bank accounts and maintain accurate financial records
Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reports
Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow monitoring
Prepare VAT returns and assist with other regulatory submissions
Liaise with clients, suppliers, and other stakeholders on finance-related queries
Assist with payroll processing and timesheet tracking where required
Contribute to process improvements and support the wider finance team with ad hoc duties
