Our client is a forward-thinking and rapidly evolving organisation looking for a Finance Assistant to join their team during an exciting period of growth and transformation.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience in finance administration, accounts payable or procurement support who enjoys working in a varied role and wants to make a real impact within a collaborative business.

You will need to hit the ground running in this role, so you’ll need experience in Accounts Payable / Purchase Ledger / Purchase to Pay

  • 3 month contract
  • Paying £14.42 - £16.83 per hour DOE
  • Very hybrid working - 1 day a fornight i nthe Bristol office
  • FULL OR PART time –  If part time the hours can fit around you, so for example can be shorter hours across 5 days, or 2 – 4 full days

Key Responsibilities

  • Processing purchase orders and maintaining accurate purchasing records
  • Managing supplier invoices and completing invoice matching
  • Supporting the accounts payable function, ensuring invoices are processed accurately and on time
  • Handling supplier enquiries and building positive working relationships
  • Supporting purchase-to-pay (P2P) processes and procurement administration
  • Setting up and maintaining supplier accounts and credit facilities
  • Processing and reconciling employee expenses
  • Monitoring approval workflows for purchase orders, invoices and expenses
  • Completing supplier payment reconciliations and supporting payment runs
  • Liaising with external service providers to support payroll administration
  • Providing general finance and administrative support across the business

About You

We're looking for someone who is highly organised, detail-oriented and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Ideally, you'll have:

  • 2-3 years' experience within finance, purchase to pay, accounts payable, procurement support or a similar role
  • Experience processing purchase orders and supplier invoices
  • Experience using SAP or another ERP system
  • Previous payroll administration experience (desirable)
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • A proactive approach with a continuous improvement mindset
  • The ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with others
