Finance Administrator - Bristol - West

£23,000 - £25,000 + study support - Accountancy / Finance

Element are proud to be working exclusively with a very well established organisation with a great purpose who are looking for a Finance Administrator to join their growing team! This is a fantastic opportunity to join the business before they go through a massive growth period. You will benefit from working with a charismatic manager and supportive team. Responsibilities include:

  • Maintain customer accounts, ensure invoices are raised, paid, and reconciled on time, and resolve queries.
  • Support benefits claims maintenance, monitor controlled bank account balances, and assist with personal allowances payments.
  • Keep cash books updated, allocate receipts and payments correctly.
  • Support colleagues with cash book transactions in the accounting software.
  • Conduct regular bank reconciliations.

Other Duties:

  • Perform financial monitoring visits, report findings to senior management.
  • Support the monthly timesheet process to meet payroll deadlines.
  • Assist with petty cash reconciliations and bank run requests.

Requirements:

  • Good general education, particularly in Maths and English.
  • At least one years of experience in a similar finance role.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Word.
  • Basic bookkeeping knowledge.
  • Familiarity with financial accounting software
  • Ability to manage own workload and work as part of a team.
