Element Recruitment are partnering with a company in Bristol who are looking for a Data Specialist to support the delivery of high‑quality Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) submissions for a range of well‑known brands. If you enjoy working with data, solving problems, and contributing to meaningful environmental outcomes, this role could be a great fit.

Our client is a well‑established organisation with a strong focus on sustainability, innovation and responsible business practices. They work with major brands to help navigate complex packaging and environmental compliance requirements, offering a collaborative environment where data‑driven insights make a real impact.

• £31,000
• 3 days in the office in Bristol / 2 days home
• Starting ASAP

What you’ll be doing:

• Collecting, validating and processing packaging & EPR‑related data
• Working with tools such as Excel, Power BI, Alteryx and internal systems
• Collaborating closely with internal teams and senior stakeholders
• Developing tools, templates and processes to improve data quality and efficiency
• Presenting insights and recommendations to clients and colleagues
• Supporting the development of new data‑led services and project work
• Acting as a subject matter resource within a key compliance area
• Building strong client relationships, including occasional UK travel

What they are looking for:

• Experience in a data‑focused role (regulatory/technical data experience is a bonus)
• Advanced Excel skills, including Power Query
• Familiarity with Alteryx and Power BI
• Strong analytical, organisational and communication skills
• High attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy
• Ability to work independently and within cross‑functional teams
• Experience supporting junior colleagues is desirable
