Credit Controller 6 Month FTC - Bristol - North

Element is proudly working with a successful professional services firm based in North Bristol who are looking for an experienced Credit Controller to join their team on a 6 month fixed-term contract that is likely to be extended or become permanent. 

Salary - £30,000 - £33,000

Hybrid working - 2 days in office, 3 days from home

Parking on site!

The role

As a Credit Controller, you will be responsible for:

• Preparation of invoices and credit notes for sales
• Taking phone payments and processing refunds
• Management of the credit control process from end to end including liaising with the sales teams on outstanding debt
• Reconciliation the accounts receivable ledger to ensure all payments are accounted for and properly posted
• Be the point of contact for all internal and external invoice and payment queries
• To ensure customers pay on time and aged debt is kept to a minimum
• Month end invoice and aged debt reporting
• Other adhoc finance duties as required

Your Profile

• Previous experience within Credit Control / Accounts Receivable is preferable
• Demonstrate excellent communication skills
• Be proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel
• Assertive and able to influence others
• Have an excellent attention to detail, and demonstrate excellent organisational skills
• Ideally studying towards AAT
