Credit Controller - Bristol - Central

Are you an experienced Credit Controller looking for a new challenge?

Element Recruitment are proud to be working in an exclusive partnership with Commercial Property Advisors to support them with the recruitment for a Credit Controller to join their fast growing team! The business has gone through a massive growth period and plans on growing even more! 

They are looking for someone who has at least 1 years experience within Credit Control, someone who is bright, hard-working and would fit well into a social dynamic team!

Key responsibilities:

• Main Duties/Responsibilities:
• Manage client accounts to ensure timely payment of debt - using the most effective method tocollect outstanding debt, either telephone or email
• Accountable for your allocated ledger
• Manage the collections and resolution of debt and individual queries
• Reducing aged debt profile
• Allocating cash
• Setting up customer payment plans
• Weekly and monthly reports
• Reconciling and providing administration for client accounts
• Highlight and investigate any exceptions and variances
• Raising Invoices, allocating and creating credit notes
• Preparing files and information for litigation
• Liaising with other departments
• Dealing with client cancellations
• Sending Monthly Statements
• Inbound & Outbound Partners Referrals
• Consultation fees
• Quotes

Skills & Characteristics:

• Experience working within a financial environment is preferred but not essential as training will be provided for the right applicant.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a willingness to get involved within an enthusiastic and passionate team.
• Basic understanding of Microsoft word/outlook and excel.
• Good communication and time management skills.
• Ability to adapt to varying workloads.
