Credit Controller (Finance Assistant) - Cheltenham

Credit Controller | £27,000 - £35,000 | North Cheltenham (Hybrid)

Global organisation in North Cheltenham is seeking a Credit Controller. The business has had a period of stability and is now looking to grow. This is not your standard Credit Control role as you will also be involved in Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable. This will suit someone with experience in AR or Credit Control who is looking to develop their finance career. 

The Role:

• Manage customer accounts to ensure timely collection balances in line with the agreed terms
• Monitor and forecast cash receipts 
• Oversee credit insurance declarations and prepare quarterly submissions
• Hold weekly credit control meetings with the sales teams
• Monitor and report key KPIs
• Calculate customer rebates and process related credit notes accurately
• Review and approve customer credit applications
• Support external auditors with accounts receivable queries and documentation
• Complete day-to-day finance administration tasks 
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and controls

Your Profile:

• Experience in either Accounts Receivable or Credit Control
• Ideally 2+ years in a finance role
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
