Credit Control - Gloucester

Our client, based in Gloucester, is seeking an experienced Credit Controller. This innovative company puts customer satisfaction at the heart of the organisation – this, they believe, is the secret of their success.

The role:

• Proactively contact clients/internal contacts for prompt collection or resolution of aged receivables
• Driving cash flow by strong portfolio management & relationship building
• Working with relevant client partners & divisions to achieve KPI’s
• Resolving customer receivable issues and disputes
• Accurate codification, collections comments & dispute identification
• Ensuring appropriate prioritisation & timely follow up on all outstanding debts
• Improve processes & deliver excellent service
• Working as part of a team to ensure additional credit control tasks are undertaken
• Driving recommendations of referral for further action when necessary
• Attend & contribute to credit control team meetings

You will have:

• Demonstrable Credit Control experience in a similar environment
• Proven experience of reducing aged debt
• Completed or studying for ICM exams (desirable but not essential)
• A good understanding of the basic concepts of Credit Management
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced dynamic environment
• Successfully manage multiple tasks & priorities
• Proactive / self-starter with positive can-do attitude
• Attention to detail & deliver high quality work;
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Professional and confident persona
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook;
