The Role:
As a Credit Control Administrator, you will play a vital role in supporting the finance team, ensuring the effective and timely collection of outstanding debts, maintaining strong relationships with clients, and upholding the company’s high standards of customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing the day-to-day credit control function, including chasing overdue payments by phone, email, and letter.
  • Monitoring aged debt reports and ensuring all issues are followed up promptly.
  • Resolving invoice queries efficiently and escalating issues where necessary.
  • Allocating incoming payments and reconciling accounts.
  • Preparing reports for senior management on outstanding debt and credit control performance.
  • Liaising with internal departments to ensure billing accuracy and service delivery.
  • Supporting wider finance administration duties as required.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Previous experience in a credit control or finance administration role.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a professional and confident telephone manner.
  • Highly organised, with excellent attention to detail and the ability to prioritise workloads effectively.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Experience with accounting software (e.g., Sage, SAP, or similar) is desirable but not essential.
