Element Recruitment is working with a well-established law firm in Bath to support the search for a Part-Time Conveyancing Administrator to join their Property team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Conveyancing Administrator looking to join a professional and supportive environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting post-completion conveyancing matters, ensuring transactions are progressed accurately and efficiently while delivering a high standard of service to clients and colleagues.

The Role

You will provide administrative support across the conveyancing department, assisting with post-completion transactions and ensuring all documentation is submitted accurately and within required timescales.

Key Responsibilities

  • Preparing completion correspondence and documentation
  • Reviewing completion statements and checking financial information for accuracy
  • Submitting applications and documentation to HMRC and the Land Registry
  • Monitoring registrations and dealing with any outstanding requisitions
  • Responding to enquiries relating to mortgage redemptions and property registrations
  • Liaising with fee earners regarding outstanding matters and transaction updates
  • Maintaining accurate records and updating internal systems
  • Ensuring documentation is processed in line with required procedures and deadlines
  • Providing administrative support across the wider conveyancing team
  • Delivering excellent service to clients and internal stakeholders

About You

  • Previous experience working as a Conveyancing Administrator within a law firm is essential
  • Good understanding of the residential conveyancing process
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Professional and client-focused approach
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Flexible and adaptable with a proactive attitude
  • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications and legal case management systems
