Element Recruitment is working with a well-established law firm in Bath to support the search for a Part-Time Conveyancing Administrator to join their Property team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Conveyancing Administrator looking to join a professional and supportive environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting post-completion conveyancing matters, ensuring transactions are progressed accurately and efficiently while delivering a high standard of service to clients and colleagues.
The Role
You will provide administrative support across the conveyancing department, assisting with post-completion transactions and ensuring all documentation is submitted accurately and within required timescales.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing completion correspondence and documentation
- Reviewing completion statements and checking financial information for accuracy
- Submitting applications and documentation to HMRC and the Land Registry
- Monitoring registrations and dealing with any outstanding requisitions
- Responding to enquiries relating to mortgage redemptions and property registrations
- Liaising with fee earners regarding outstanding matters and transaction updates
- Maintaining accurate records and updating internal systems
- Ensuring documentation is processed in line with required procedures and deadlines
- Providing administrative support across the wider conveyancing team
- Delivering excellent service to clients and internal stakeholders
About You
- Previous experience working as a Conveyancing Administrator within a law firm is essential
- Good understanding of the residential conveyancing process
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Professional and client-focused approach
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Flexible and adaptable with a proactive attitude
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications and legal case management systems
