Compliance, Tax and Risk Manager | Gloucestershire | £60,000 - £65,000 + Excellent Benefits

We're currently working with a progressive and ethical organisation who invest in green energy, sustainability and ethical projects. They're seeking someone hands on to join as Compliance Tax and Risk Manager. This is a standalone role which will suit someone who can work creatively, and discreetly. As part of a small and highly professional team, there is opportunity to be involved with a wide range of varied project work. 

Responsibilities will include:

• You will be the key contact for all compliance queries. The subject matter expert who provides advice and guidance about both existing and forthcoming legislative, regulatory and fiduciary changes impacting the organisation
• Ensure the structure complies with relevant (internal and external) regulations, tax guidance, safe provision of KYC / AML documentation, managing and limiting the risks as appropriate
• You will work closely with finance, legal and people functions to provide guidance, advice and support on a wide range of policies and processes
• Prepare and file accurate and timely reporting returns and reports
• Manage the assessment and completion of required paperwork around Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act or Common Reporting Standards, LEI renewals
• Research and interpret tax guidance and regulation, in conjunction with external tax lawyers updating the company's tax policies and procedures accordingly 
• Manage tax audits, inquiries and assessments, and liaise with tax authorities and external advisors as required.
• Assess and mitigate tax risks and implement appropriate controls, processes and scheduling to ensure compliance
• Completion of forms with reference to KYC / AML requests around investments, banking, general service etc
• Work within the parameters of FDPR and good data-sharing practices

Your Profile:

• You may come from Finance, Legal, Banking or other but have strong experience in compliance
• Ability to work discreetly with sensitive information
