Thriving organisation based in Somerset is seeking a Commercial Analyst. You will be a motivated and analytical finance professional who is eager to develop and grow with this company. 

The main objective of this role is to collate, review, analyse and interpret various aspects of supplier and sales related information from various sources, and provide insight, identifying trends, anomalies, outliers and risks, including making appropriate recommendations for courses of action.

This is a hybrid role with only 2 days per week in the office.

Reporting to the FP&A Business Partner you will be responsible for:

• Interpreting data from company reporting and analysing using statistical techniques.
• Following an agreed reporting schedule and ensuring that reports and analysis are provided to key stakeholders in a timely and accurate manner.
• Highlighting areas of concern or opportunity to the business recognised through analysis.
• Identify, analyse and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.
• Assist with forecasting outcomes based on current and historical data.

Your Profile:

• Part Qualified Accountant desirable
• Advanced Excel skills and Strong analytical ability
• Ideally knowledge of SAP and PowerBI
• Good verbal and written communication skills 
• Able to present analysis in an easy-to-understand format
