Element Recruitment is pleased to be working exclusively with a multi-site organisation that is looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join their team on a part-time, remote basis.

This role is ideal for someone with strong experience in payroll and timesheet processing, particularly with variable hours and overtime. You’ll play a key role in ensuring accurate weekly payroll input and maintaining up-to-date financial records.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process weekly timesheets, including overtime and varying shift patterns
  • Liaise with managers to clarify hours, discrepancies, or approvals
  • Maintain accurate payroll records and input data into accounting or payroll systems
  • Prepare basic financial reports as needed
  • Support the team with ad-hoc bookkeeping tasks

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Bookkeeper, preferably with exposure to payroll or timesheet processing (adjusting overtime ideally)
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Comfortable working independently and remotely
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Experience with accounting software (e.g. Xero, QuickBooks, Sage) is an advantage
