Automation Data Specialist - Bristol

Our client in Central Bristol is looking to appoint an Automation Specialist with expertise in Make.com (formerly Integromat) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing automated workflows and integrations to streamline the business processes.

This role requires a strong understanding of various APIs, data management, and automation tools to ensure efficient and effective operations.

Salary - Up to £35,000

Location - Bristol

Key Responsibilities:

  • Workflow Design and Implementation: Develop and implement automated workflows using Make.com to optimize business processes.
  • API Integration: Integrate various third-party APIs (e.g., Techvolution, Google Sheets, OpenAI) to automate data retrieval, processing, and updating tasks.
  • Data Management: Ensure accurate and efficient handling of large datasets, including deduplication, validation, and enrichment.
  • Process Optimization: Continuously assess and optimize existing workflows for efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with surveyors, data analysts, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs. - Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of workflows, integrations, and processes.
  • Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve any issues related to automated workflows and integrations.
  • Training and Support: Provide training and support to team members on the use of automated systems and tools.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience: Proven experience in designing and managing workflows using Make.com (formerly Integromat).
  • Technical Skills: Strong understanding of APIs, JSON, and webhooks.
  • Data Management: Proficiency in handling large datasets, including data cleaning, validation, and deduplication.
  • Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail. - Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is preferred but not required based on experience.
  • Database Knowledge: Experience with relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB).
