Assistant Management Accountant - Melksham

We are partnering with a well-established organisation based in Devizes who are seeking an Assistant Management Accountant to join their experienced and supportive finance team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assisting with the preparation of monthly management accounts
• Supporting month-end and year-end processes, including accruals and prepayments
• Maintaining accurate balance sheet reconciliations
• Assisting with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Processing journals and supporting ledger maintenance
• Providing financial support and analysis to the wider business
• Supporting audit preparation and other ad hoc finance tasks

Skills and Experience Required:

• Previous experience in a finance role, ideally with exposure to management accounts
• AAT qualified or currently studying towards AAT/ACCA/CIMA (desirable)
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and finance systems
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Ability to manage deadlines and work effectively as part of a team
